MEET THE TEAM
BeachTran USA, LLC is a Florida company formed in 2016 by Tom Nocera of Clearwater, Florida for the purpose of bringing to the public's attention the best possible solution for his hometown's serious beach traffic problem. BeachTran USATM is privately held and locally owned. Our current activities include:
1.) Advocating for Aerial Private Rapid Transit (APRT);
2.) Educating the public about the many advantages of APRT especially compared to a gondola system;
3.) Obtaining the necessary approvals from the city, county and State of Florida for the implementation of a solar-powered elevated transit system in Clearwater;
4.) Planning routes - including locations for stations;
5.) Securing tens of millions in Opportunity Zone and other private funding;
6.) Negotiating with the vendor for a turn-key system;
7.) Building the team who will operate, maintain, market and expand BeachTranTM long into the future.
